Form 5 & 6 Trip to Menorca 2011

Wednesday 18th May

Regretfully the internet connection at the site is not working, so for the moment we do not have any photographs. A member of staff will try to find an Internet Cafe, possibly on Saturday, so photos can be sent.

On the first day the children played water polo followed by cricket and then early to bed.

Thursday 19th May

Went to the beach, played lots of games and built curious castles.
Children are behaving very well and have settled well. Unbelievably they are all happy to shower!

Friday 20th May

Had a very educational visit to La Mola, the fort, which children seemed to enjoy.
At the Zoo the children enjoyed the kids and boa constrictors.

Off to the shops tomorrow and scuba in afternoon.

Saturday 21th May

Spent the morning in Cuitadella.

We have just received the following photographs

PICTURES FROM LA MOLA IN THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ISLAND

These are higher definition versions of some of the photos, same pictures as above but you can download them if you want to print them (they are larger files):-

Sunday 22nd March

We had a fantastic training session on the kayaks this morning, where the children learnt how to manoeuvre their kayaks and some learnt the importance of teamwork!

We all had to practise falling out of our kayaks and climbing back in.

We then had a picnic lunch on the beach, followed by a technology project set by Miss Float and judged by Mr Dudley-Cooke.

Weather today fabulous, 25 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. Same for tomorrow.

Monday 23rd March

A fantastic day with kayaks, the children have made tremendous progress in just 2 days and are proficient in manoeuvres.

We went on a sea excursion and visited many caves and another beach.

Tonight we are off to visit the local Marina.
