Wednesday 19th May

We have had a message to say that all arrived safely.

20:00 message : All well, everyone has settled well in their villas. They played cricket and swam. No sign of tiredness except from the teachers!

An action packed day on beach, played dodge ball, basket ball in the sea, darts, treasure hunt, swimming and making sandcastles.

The weather is becoming warmer, and there is the promise of a hot weekend.

Tomorrow they are off to the fort and the zoo. All the children are joining in very happily in all activities and blending well.
 

Another action packed day with an in depth study of Fort La Mola, situated on the other side of the island.
This was followed by a trip to the zoo. Animals included pigs, parrots and prairie dogs. After the zoo they went swimming.
The weather is beautiful but not too hot.

The main event tomorrow is the scuba diving.
The children are all happy and well.

Saturday 22nd May

It has been a beautiful sunny day today, we have had a busy time on the beach as you can see on the photo's.
The children have been scuba diving. Those that took part gained their certificates and they were very excited.
This evening we have a disco and a comedian.

The children are all eating heartily as the picture shows.

Tomorrow we are kayaking.

Sunday 23rd May

Wonderful day on the water, now all the children are professionals at kayaking.

Afternoon spent on the beach and awaiting magician show with eager anticipation. More kayaking tomorrow, children all extremely well.

Monday 24th May

Excursion out in the open sea in kayaks today, and they paddled into some caves. All returned safely.

Afternoon on the beach. Tomorrow they will go to the town to buy some souvenirs.

Tuesday 25th May

Busiest day yet. Trip into town for souvenirs. Boat trip in the afternoon which included a beach stop and a course in dam building.

Now off to bowling, then it will be time to pack.

They are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
