District Cross-Country competition

On Tuesday the 11^th March 12 boys and 11 girls went to South Weald Park to participate in the District Cross-Country competition.  We were all looking forward to running, and felt well prepared because he had been training in Weald Park on the last three Sunday afternoons. The ground was extremely muddy, but we all ran brilliantly.

 

The first three Herington House girls back were:

• Sophie Church in 29^th place

• Josie Urry in 33^rd place

• Charlotte Clews in 55^th place

 

The first three boys back were:

• James Percival in 23^rd place

• Matthew Bell in 50^th place

• Jack Salter in 52^nd place

 

Each race had well over 100 runners, so these positions were excellent.

 

Miss Float and Mrs Jones were very proud of us all.
