DISTRICT SPORTS 2011

On Tuesday 14th June, 34 children from Forms 3 - 6 went to St. Martin's School to participate in this year's District Sports Competition.

The field events (long jump, high jump and ball throwing) were first.  Out six competitors all performed well, Priyanka Khanna achieving 3rd place in the ball throwing.

The track events followed.

Hannah Spicer, Helena Mollard, Serena Spicer, Eve Percival, Matthew Bell, the Form 5 Girls Relay team and the Form 6 Boys Relay team all achieved 3rd places.

The Form 3 Girls Relay team and the Form 4 Girls Relay team both achieved 2nd places.

The Form 6 Girls Relay team achieved our only 1st place of the morning.  Our congratulations go to them.  They have also each been awarded School Athletics Colours. 

Herington House came in 6th place overall.
