The School and Parents
Parents are kept informed of their children's progress by means of termly reports and once a year through an appointment to speak with the Form Teacher and Principal. Parents may make an appointment to see the Principal or Deputy Head Teacher at anytime to discuss matters of concern.

The School supports various charities throughout the academic year.
The Friends of Herington House
The Friends of Herington House are the Parent’s and Teachers Association of the School. It was established over 25 years ago to provide social and fundraising activities for the parents and children, to enable families to meet one another and have fun.
The Friends is run by a committee of parents who give up a few hours of their time to organise events, sell tickets or help at events. Every year the committee organises at least one event each term from Summer Fair to Dinner/dances and Quiz Nights. We try to have a varied mixture of events to appeal to everybody.
With the money raised The Friends of Herington House are able to provide additional facilities, services and outings for the exclusive benefit of the pupils.
Any parent is very welcome to join the committee or if they prefer to just volunteer to help in events as they arise. Any help is always very much appreciated.
